Dharmendra Timsina’s Januka released

A joint collection of Nepali Gazals and Ruwai, Janu kaha ho, authored by Dharmendra Timsina of Beldangi camp, was released amidst a program at Gantabya Theater at Damak, Friday. arious local and Bhutanese literary personalities, including Prakash Andembe, Mani Kamal Chhetri, Jeetan Subba and Bhupendra Timsina, were present during the book release program, sponsored by the Media Network Bhutan.
Meanwhile, another book Atitka Sabda, a collection of Nepali Gazals and composed by Sandesh Tunbapo Subba was also released, according to Monarath Pokhrel, Chief Executive of the Network. 

10 Years old Bhutanese child Darpan Niraula killed by bus In Buffalo

The Buffalo police named the child, who was struck and killed by a church day care bus on Thursday, as Darpan Niraula. The Eyewitness News quoted Buffalo Police Leutenant Joseph Pierchala as saying,” A ten-year-old boy was crossing Prospect Avenue in a westerly direction when he was struck and killed by a church day care bus that was traveling north bound on Prospect Avenue.”
According to police report, the victim was hit from the front of the bus and the driver has volunteered…consented to give a blood sample to test for alcohol. However, there were no signs of any alcohol involvement or intoxication.
His 16-year-old brother Chandra Niraula was also present at the time of mishap. However, he said he was helpless as Darpan died on the spot.

Largest Arrival of Bhutanese Immigrants in Winnipeg

On November 29, 2011, the largest group of Bhutanese Immigrants arrived in Winnipeg with individual of 34 comprising 5 families. All these families will be assited through Welcome Place, a Winnipeg-based Settlement Agency.
